"To jazz or not to jazz, there is no question!"

If you were famous, which quote would be attached to your picture? While researching for a project I came across the quotes of a famous musician and singer (at least the quotes are attributed to him) and they are quite funny or straight to the point.
One of them reads:
“Musicians don’t retire; they stop when there is no more music in them”.
Or what about this one:
“There are some people that if they don’t know, you can’t tell them.”
A saying pertaining to every life situation.
About being content:
“I never want to be anything more than I am; what I don’t have, I don’t need.”
Or his famous one:
“What we play is life.”
By now, you know I am talking about Louis Daniel “Satchmo” Armstrong, whose life was to “blow that horn” and to do “nothing halfway, else you find yourself dropping more than can be picked up.”
And his music reflects his life and personality: not boring at all, very rich in its multicultural New Orleans legacy with a charisma and energy that spread all over the world. In a 1955 interview, he recalled that during a concert in West Berlin fans “slipped over the Iron Curtain” to hear him play.
Apart from everything we know about him, I learned he spoke Yiddish fluently, wrote a few books (among them: “Lose Weight the Satchmo Way”), smoked pot everyday and met 2 popes during his lifetime. This man would have 10 more careers if he could have and when I find myself lacking motivation, I remember one more quote of his:
“You blow who you is”!
